The correct size plate is welded to the bumper bar to match the recognised height standard for towing a trailer in Europe.
Step 4

The full width towbar is “tacked” together in place, before moving onto the welding bay to be made structually sound.
Step 5

After welding, the towbar is placed in a paint booth and coated with a fast setting plastic type paint called Techno Grip.
Step 6

Various fixing points are required for use with various vehicles. All towbars should have a mounting on the original vehicle chassis. Whether it be Fiat, Mercedes, Peugeot, Renault or Ford, they are all built to tow.
Step 7

Once bolted back on, single electrics and a towball are fitted as standard.
Step 8

All our bars are plated and approved to tow to the manufacturers conditions.
Step 9
The finished article can be used to tow or carry a scooter with a ScootRack or Easylifter.
