The secondary blower units utilise waste heat from the engine coolant circuit. The engines coolant is circulated via the engine coolant pump through the secondary blowers heat exchanger. A 12 or 24v auxillary fan unit blows air over the heat exchanger. A transfer of heat takes place resulting in warm air being blown into the vehicle interior. Airflow is controlled by a switch , which alters the speed of the blower fan. Heat can be controlled by a variable water valve if required.
